On May 4, 2021, St. Croix County Board of Supervisors approved the Town of St. Joseph Zoning Ordinance.

4/28/21 The Town has submitted the Zoning Ordinance, Use Table, and Map to St. Croix County for their approval. Once approved, the ordinance will go into effect.
St Croix County sent back comments on the Town Zoning Ordinance in late March 2021. The Town of St. Joseph is addressing those comments through ordinance revisions. The Plan Commission met on March 29th and set a Public Hearing for Monday, April 12th at 7pm and recommended an updated version of the ordinance, map and use table to the Town Board. The Town Board is holding a Public Hearing on April 27th, 2021 at 5:30pm.

The Town of St. Joseph adopted Town Zoning on January 7, 2021. The Zoning Ordinance and Map will be enacted upon approval by St Croix County.

Work by the Zoning Subcommittee was started in 2019. There have been 2 public open houses. At the July 21, 2020 Annual Town Meeting, Town residents voted to move forward with this process and adopted a formal resolution on September 14th, 2020 . The Plan Commission held a Public Hearing in September to hear public comments on the draft ordinance and map, and have made revisions. The Plan Commission held a second Public Hearing on November 30th. The draft ordinance, map and use table was sent to the Town Board in December, which held a Public Hearing on January 7, 2021 and vote to adopt the ordinance and map.

Rezoning Application Forms - submit to the Town Clerk-Treasurer office for review by staff before going to the Plan Commission and Town Board.
Administrative Appeal Application forms - submit to the Town Clerk-Treasurer office for review by staff before going to the Plan Commission and Town Board.
