Bear Sightings

I understand that spring is really here. Seems that a bear or two have been sighted in the town. Since they are out of hibernation, they are now hungry and those bird feeders make an easy target. Just thought I'd give you all a "heads-up".

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT

MAKE YOUR WRITTEN REQUEST FOR A MAILED ABSENTEE BALLOT EARLY !! You don't have to stand in line on Election Day - you can vote absentee without a reason... it's for your convenience! Don't get caught on a business trip without voting.

REQUEST BY MAIL - Download the Application For Absentee Ballot (EB-121). Complete the form and mail it to:

TOWN OF ST. JOSEPH Marie Schmit, Clerk/Treasurer 1337 County Road V Hudson, WI 54016

The application must be received by the clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the election in order for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you. Of course you must already be a register voter.

DEADLINE FOR RETURNING BALLOT - The completed ballot must be received by the municipal clerk no later than the day of the election so that it can be delivered to the polling location by 8 p.m.

IN-PERSON AT YOUR MUNICIPAL CLERK'S OFFICE - You can also personally go to the Clerk's office, complete a written application, and vote an absentee ballot during the regular office hours. This can be done up until 5:00 p.m. on the day before the election.

Regular Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Commission members are needed to continue in the development of ordinances to effectively carry out the comprehensive town plan, as well as to moderate the on-going growth.

There is an opening for a member of the commission!!

Won’t you please consider submitting an introduction and letter of interest? We really need you! Meetings are generally twice a month and your commitment will surely help the community in many ways.
