Internet Survey
Dear Town of St. Joseph Resident:
During the past year, the St. Joseph Town Board has been looking for a solution to demands for high-speed data services for all Town of St. Joseph residents. To confirm your needs and provide future direction, the Town of St. Joseph is conducting a survey of all township residents concerning a high-speed data services network. Your response to this survey is critical to providing the Town Board with the information necessary to derive accurate cost estimates with any potential providers. Please complete and return the following short survey by Monday, June 22. You may print and drop off the survey at the Town Hall, mail it to the Town of St. Joseph: 1337 County Road V, Hudson, WI 54016, or fax it to the Town Hall at 715-549-6249. If you have any questions about this survey, please call the Town Hall at 715-549-6235. 1 Please be assured that no one will be required to change from their existing services to any new services provided within the township. 2009 Citizen of the Year Award
Tom & Donna Seim could be called visionaries, great stewards of the land, who provided for a legacy that will be here for generations to come. Tom is no longer with us, but Donna was honored at the April 14th Annual town meeting for their gift to the community in 1996 of our Homestead Park.
In addition Donna has been very involved in the town with her work on the former Plan Committee, as an election worker and with her passion for the history of the town. Her knowledge, commitment and contribution to this town and this entire County is appreciated. It was a huge decision for a family to put their land in to parkland. It was a gift with some compensation, but let’s fact it, not many people would make the step that Tom & Donna did in making sure that there would be those protected acres for generation in the future. Perch Lake will be a gem of St Croix County and the Town of St. Joseph because they were willing to make sure that the area now known as Homestead Park would not be developed. Their love of their land and their community helped them make the decision that they did. Congratulations!
